Form, fill and seal machine (FFS) for flexible “Cyclero” laminated packs.

Constantly looking ahead for new opportunities and trends in packaging industry and with over 10 years of experience in laminated tube making machines Mechatronica is pleased to present the FFS production line for the unique “Cyclero” packaging concept. The environmentally friendly and cost efficient “Cyclero” package offers high barrier properties and excellent stability in a flexible solution.

This machine has a modular construction. Modules are tied to each other by transport conveyers. The machine consists of:

Bodymaker - produces the pack’s pre-printed foil body. It works by withdrawing the foil to a required length, molds it to the shape of a cylinder, seals the foil by means of inductors and puts the cut bodies into transports on the conveyer.

Lid Sealer - its purpose is to seal the pack’s lid (which is pre-formed) onto the body. Mechanisms implement the following operations: take a lid from the store, form it into shape, seal it by means of inductors onto the lower part of the body, the pack is them transported to the filling module.

Filling and Bottom Sealing - this part of the machine serves to fill the pack with product . After filling it is closed with a bottom, which is pre-formed. Sealing of the bottom onto the body is also achieved by means of inductors.

Ejecting - serves to eject the pack from the transports by the means of a special pistons and pressureized air. The ejected packs fall onto a conveyer which draws them aside to the packaging area.

Cleaning - washes and dries the transports.
