The class, from which the students come, is the first of its kind as it will specialize next year into Systems Programing class. Therefore, in order to prepare the students for the next year, the school collaborated with five tech-companies from Gabrovo which were required conduct a brief training and increase the students’ knowledge regarding their technological and programming skills. Mechatronica was thankful to be one of the chosen companies, which collaborated with the high school.
The students undertook 64 hours of training in total which were split into 10 days. They were mentored by Mr. Miroslav Hinkov himself and other design engineers from Mechatronica. The students performed different tasks including 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, working with Mechatronica’s machines technical specification, etc. However, main focus was put on their programming skills and for this the Arduino platform and Visual Studio were used. At the end, the young programmers created a program which successfully managed to control a climate cotrol device for the AC system in the factory.
We are extremely happy to have worked with such smart and curious children and to have strengthen our relationship with the high school in our town.
